Justin Mirza, D.O. is a Long Island based orthopedic surgeon at Mirza Orthopedics. Dr. Mirza graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2009 and went on to finish his residency in orthopedic surgery at North Shore Long Island Jewish in 2014 and a fellowship in Hand Surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital in 2015.
Dr. Mirza specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of conditions and injuries affecting both the upper and lower extremities. Many of the surgeries Dr. Mirza performs are done in the outpatient setting. He regularly performs minimally invasive surgeries such as arthroscopic carpal tunnel release, cubital tunnel release, and rotator cuff repair.
Dr. Scott Weiner is a fellowship-trained shoulder and elbow orthopedic surgeon with expertise in complex shoulder reconstruction and advanced arthroscopic procedures. He attended medical school at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed residency training within the Northwell Health system. Dr Weiner continued his training in shoulder and elbow surgery at Johns Hopkins University. While his focal interest is the upper extremity, he is also skilled in treating patients with general orthopedic concerns such as fracture care, sports-related injuries, and arthritic conditions.
Dr. Weiner’s passion for treating the upper extremity comes from years of specialized training and research, including a traveling fellowship to train with leading European shoulder and elbow surgeons and a clinical research role at the Cleveland Clinic. He has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and book chapters regarding shoulder and elbow disorders, and he has presented findings at national orthopedic meetings.

Faruk Razzak, DO is a Long Island-based pain management physician at Mirza Orthopedics. Dr. Razzak graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and received his doctorate from Stony Brook University in 2009. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Elective, focusing on Spine Disorders. Faruk Razzak, DO, focuses on pain management, specifically disorders that affect the spine. He currently serves as our outpatient physician for Spine sports injuries and pain management. He is well-versed in the diagnosis and treatment of lumbar, Cervical, and Thoracic spine injuries.
